With years of professional experience performing with Boston's most prestigious bands around New England and graduating as the Valedictorian of the University of Rhode Island Music Department as a Jazz Performance Major, Jonathan Ceasar has dedicated his life to helping aspiring musicians achieve their goals and become the guitarist they've always wanted to be. Jonathan himself has been awarded numerous accolades within the competitive Jazz Performance field while also studying with several of Berklee College of Music's finest professors and alumni.

Jonathan has always believed that everyone should have access to high-quality and professional lessons. This is why he brought his years of musical experience to the screens of students willing to take their first or next steps in their musical journey. Jonathan provides in-depth practice tools, materials, techniques and interactive practicing between himself and his students, all from the comfort of their own homes. He utilizes only the highest-end equipment and software to ensure that his lessons can be seamlessly translated from his students' screens to their fretboards. Jonathan has thrived teaching students of all ages, all skill levels, and of all musical backgrounds the skills needed to not only learn their instrument, but to grow in their own passion for music.

LESSON TERMS

  • Students should arrive on time and prepared for lessons. Regular attendance is important for success.
  • The student’s scheduled time slot does not extend past their end time if the student arrives to the lesson late.
  • GPA may allow make-up lessons for cancellations due to illness or emergency, but not for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
  • If recurring lessons are consistently missed or rescheduled, the student will be charged for their original lesson time along with the rescheduled lesson.
  • Lesson fees are paid in advance. If fees are unpaid, lessons may be suspended or canceled.
  • Students may not share annotated sheet music or notes with people outside of the teaching studio.
